About Aarathy
Psychology and teaching are my passion. After completing my MA in Counselling Psychology, I have been practising as a therapist. I have also cleared UGC-NET for my interest in teaching. Both of these not only help me share my knowledge but also help me grow as a person and professional. I have been teaching my peers and juniors, since my childhood. Inspired by some great teachers, I prefer personalising the classes to each individual. When one is able to explain a concept to a layperson clearly, that's when learning is done. And this is what I aim for. Everything we learn has a practical implication and when we include real life examples in classes, learning makes more sense. I use diverse analogies from multiple subjects in my teaching. I like using the help of audio, visual and kinesthetic learning aids in my classes. I also encourage my students to ask a lot of questions, for curiosity is a great facilitator for learning.
