About Peter
I have many years' experience of teaching Spanish and French at different levels. I have taught both languages to adults in further education colleges; I have taught French to university students and have taught Spanish and French at GCSE level and Spanish at A Level. I have used both languages throughout my career working for NGOs and in the course of postgraduate study, this has involved giving talks at public meetings and conferences in different languages and undertaking lobbying meetings with State officials in France, Spain, Colombia. I have also experience of undertaking press/radio interviews in Spanish and French.

I endeavour to provide language lessons which develop the student's grasp of grammar, strengthen their spoken language skills and comprehension. To do this I seek to include exercises which encourage the student to speak, to explore a particular area of grammar, to listen to the language to strengthen comprehension skills and reading to improve pronunciation and increase vocabulary.
