About Rhea
English seems difficult, but it's really a game of words - just like any other language. We will establish your goals and vision for the classes right in the beginning and then structure them accordingly.
I would love to get feedback after every class because it just helps us get to your goal better and more efficiently. As someone who's been dealing with the language in a professional capacity for close to 6 years, I can assure you that your classes will be fun, informative, funny (very important!), and enriching.

I am more of a curious language nerd than a teacher; although, my class focuses on:
- Solidifying basic yet tricky grammar concepts (eg, what's the difference between farther and further?)
- Improving contextual understanding of the writing (eg, I assure you vs I ensure you)
- Establishing a difference between spoken English and written English with different kinds of articles, essays, stories, and music!
I keep the structure varied for each class, because one size does not fit all! From the get go, we dive into different aspects of the language and how you can have fun with it while cementing all important concepts.
The classes are for everyone who loves literature and writing and wants to get the trickiest concepts ironed out - mainly intended at schoolkids and adults whose first language is not English.
