Hi, I'm Jesse. I've just sat my A Level exams in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and German with 4A*s predicted. I also did an EPQ in year 12, for which I was awarded an A* with 50/50. I am a Cambridge medicine offer holder. I am fun, friendly and knowledgeable, with a true passion for helping people and a desire to see you succeed, no matter your goals or where you are on your academic journey. I sat 11 GCSEs in 2024 in 11 different subjects, and got 9s in all 11, including 99% in maths, 96% in further maths and 93% in chemistry and biology—all whilst balancing studying with sport, hobbies and other extra-curricular activities. The secret? Working smarter, not harder. Having been through many examination processes, I fully understand how daunting this process can appear, but strongly believe that with proven strategies in place, which are different for everyone, exams can become something which are looked forward to, rather than feared. The difficult part is discovering said strategies, which I intend to help with. Challenging content can often feel insurmountable and overwhelming, but I'm here to offer a personalised, digestible teaching style to help you fully grasp, and retain, those concepts which will set you apart from the others in an exam scenario. I am available to teach from primary school level up until GCSE, usually in the form of 1 hour lessons. He would engage in speaking practice with me, and noticed my mistakes when I made them, but also gave me actionable feedback to ensure I wouldn't make that mistake again. He also corrected my written work, explaining to me exactly why what I wrote was wrong, and I found myself intuitively not making that mistake again because I knew why it was wrong, not just how. This brought my grade from a C (predicted at the end of year 12) to an A in year 13 mocks.
