About Sanjeev

With over 13 years of experience in teaching and guiding students, I have developed a deep passion for education and a commitment to fostering student growth and success. My journey has taken me through various educational levels, from school to diploma and college students, allowing me to adapt my teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners.

My teaching philosophy centers around creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment. I believe that every student has unique strengths and learning styles, and it is my role to help them discover and harness these qualities. By incorporating real-life examples and dynamic resources—such as animated videos—I strive to make complex concepts accessible and relevant.

In addition to imparting knowledge, I prioritize guiding students in their career progression. I actively mentor students, helping them identify their interests and strengths while providing insights into various career paths. Through workshops, one-on-one consultations, and collaborative projects, I encourage students to explore their aspirations and develop the skills necessary to achieve their goals.

Managing a classroom of over 60 students can be challenging, but I thrive on fostering individual connections. I implement interactive techniques, such as think-pair-share activities and small group discussions, to ensure that each student feels valued and heard. I frequently circulate the classroom, engaging with students one-on-one to address their questions and encourage their participation.

Teaching Approach
Start with Core Concepts: Begin each lesson by introducing the fundamental principles of the topic. Use clear definitions and simple explanations to ensure that all students grasp the essential ideas.
Real-Life Examples: Incorporate examples from everyday life to illustrate these concepts. For instance, if teaching physics, discuss how a roller coaster works to explain concepts of potential and kinetic energy. This makes the material relatable and engaging.
Use of Animated Videos:
Visual Learning: Animated videos can effectively illustrate complex processes or systems. For instance, when teaching biology, a video showing cellular processes can provide a dynamic visual aid that static images cannot match.
Interactive Content: Choose videos that include quizzes or interactive elements. This keeps students engaged and encourages them to think critically about what they’re learning.
Engagement Techniques: With a large class, it’s crucial to keep students actively involved. Use techniques such as:
Polling and Q&A: Use quick polls (using tools like Kahoot!) to gauge understanding or solicit opinions. This allows you to interact with students one-on-one during discussions.
Personal Interaction: As much as possible, walk around the classroom and engage with students individually. Ask them questions about the material or their thoughts on the topic. This personal touch can make a significant difference in their learning experience.
