About Ivy
With more than 3 years of experience teaching guitar and a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Guitar Studies, I specialize in developing strong ear training skills for guitarists. I help students move beyond memorizing shapes and truly understand what they hear. My lessons focus on transcribing solos, identifying chord progressions, and building tonal awareness. We explore how to connect the ear to the fretboard through repetition and sound-based learning. Each exercise trains you to recognize intervals, chords, and phrasing naturally.
