About Jacquie
I fell in love with music when I was a toddler. My love for it only grew when I auditioned for Mulan in my 5th-grade play. I was in choir all throughout my high school as well as an after-school rock band that gigged around Jersey. My journey really progressed when I auditioned for The Voice at 15 on a whim. To my surprise, I placed second and was able to be mentored by really iconic people. After the show ended, I was able to tour around the country with Shawn Mendes and that's where a whole new learning experience began. I honed in on how to sing songs live in front of theaters and stadiums of people. I recognized how important the push, pull, rise, and fall of a song was. Since then, I've only sharpened my skillset and trained with more people that have given me more tools. Once I learned music production and a few instruments, I felt inspired to share different techniques. Singing behind a mic that's going to be a demo versus singing on stage live and making different arrangements/choices vocally are SO different. I'm passionate about passing along the wisdom that was passed down to me, and also sharing what I've learned through my experiences.

As a tutor, I can tailor my lessons to your specific needs. I have been vocally trained with a technique called speech level singing, but have also accumulated gems of wisdom from getting to work with some of the best of the best (Christina Aguilera, Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga). I can help with artist development and how to find and strengthen your voice as an artist, singer, and performer. I can also assist with how to track vocals for a demo and how to sing on stage. Whether it's original music, a cover of your favorite song, or just improving riffs and pitch, I am dedicated to helping you feel confident in your voice. I have also worked with actors auditioning for Broadway and musical theater students. All of this to say- I can really create a plan that's specific to your vision and wants.

Jacquie has given me a safe place to explore my voice and the freedom to experiment with different musical genres.
