About Jake
My passion for physics began with curiosity about how the universe functions from everyday motion to cosmic phenomena. This led me to pursue a B.Sc in Physics followed by an M.Sc in Quantum Mechanics, equipping me with both practical and theoretical understanding. Over the past 9 years, I have taught physics to students at multiple levels, creating lessons that emphasise clarity, patience, and concept-driven understanding.
I focus on providing structured, approachable teaching that builds confidence and independent reasoning. I break down complex topics into manageable steps, use real-world analogies and visual aids, and encourage students to ask questions and experiment with ideas. My goal is to make physics understandable and intellectually stimulating, fostering curiosity and self-assurance.
Beyond teaching, I continue exploring scientific developments, conducting small experiments, and staying updated with modern physics research. Teaching physics is deeply rewarding because I see learners transform from uncertainty to clarity, gaining skills that extend beyond the classroom.
