About Maria Teresa
Hi! I love learning about anything and everything.
When I was a kid I was fascinated by the stars, so I studied physics. Later on I got interested in social sciences, so I studied the physics and maths of human behaviour. My PhD Physics dissertation is about decision-making in groups.
I believe that life is an adventure so don't be afraid to explore and learn. It's okay to make mistakes, just learn from them and get back up. I hope that I can help you understand your lessons... and have that fearless, enthusiastic attitude about learning in general.

I am an encouraging nurturer. My approach is student-centred: first identifying your strengths and areas for improvement. We can go over the theory first, or go right on to solving problems.
I can tutor for all subjects under the sun, from preschool to graduate level.
As a trained physicist with a PhD and postdoc, I taught physics in uni for 17 years, along with maths and chemistry and life sciences.
My sessions are 60-90 mins long, as I find these are most effective.
