About Zach
I am a recent graduate of Westminster College (GPA: 3.97) with a bachelor's of science in Physics and Mathematics. While there, I served as both a peer tutor for nearly 3 years, and as a lead peer tutor for 1 year until I graduated. Eventually, I obtained level 1 certification through the International Tutor Training Program Certification (ITTPC) provided by the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA). This required regular ethics and skills trainings, appointment observations, and a set amount of tutoring sessions completed.
I am grateful to have worked with students from a variety of backgrounds and learning styles. Having been tutored myself throughout college, I am quite familiar with both sides of the tutor-tutee relationship. I am dedicated to maintaining a safe respectable environment where students can learn comfortably.

My pedagogy relies on adaptability to different learning methods and good communication. I utilize a variety of aids such as practice problems, guided examples, equation sheets, and more to help students learn as best they can. I have experience working with students with 0 to college level math and physics backgrounds, and have helped those with learning disabilities adapt to different classrooms.
I am open to tutoring those from grade 6 to college level. I offer tutoring in algebra, trigonometry, precalculus, calculus I, II, and III, differential equations, linear algebra, introductory physics, and electromagnetic theory.
