About Simeon
I am a 1st year at the university of Cambridge, studying philosophy, however I involve myself with as much music as possible!! Through being slightly younger I hope my lessons will be both less daunting and more enjoyable. Music not being my primary subject of study is a real benefit, I feel. It adds a complexity and diversity to my lessons and enables me to teach in different and exciting ways.

I aim to make teaching enjoyable and engaging and wish to inspire a genuine love for the subject. My typical lesson time is one hour however I am willing to alter this depending on your needs/wants. I have much experience teaching music and other subjects, particularly philosophy, and I hope this experience displays itself in my lessons both in their professionalism and their enjoyability. My lessons are aimed at GCSE/A level students in particular but am also keen to take on keener young musicians!!

I’ve known Simeon for a long time and can highly recommend him as a SuperProf tutor. He is well informed and consistently well prepared for his students’ specific needs. He has an impressive breadth of knowledge which he is able to effectively communicate and share in an engaging way. He is a talented motivator and will work through tasks thoroughly and patiently.
Simeon tutored me for GCSE Maths and I went from a low 7 to a high 9 in the months leading up to my exam. He genuinely cares about the well-being of his tutees and will help you achieve your full potential through his aid and knowledge of the subject.
