He is super patient with his students. I remember I used to go to his office every time after his lecturer to ask questions. It usually would take one hour, sometimes it was even longer. He never complained anything about my questions, no matter if it's a silly question. He also motivates and encourages me even it's irrelevant with his class. He is my good friend and he is super friendly and easy going. Not many lecturers can do that.

He was very professional in Statistics which was the course that he taught me at Victoria University of Wellington, and he elaborated the complex knowledge in an incredible simple way to make it more understandable for the students.
