About Chandrika
I have been appointed as a lab assistant for the Heat and Mass Transfer and fluid mechanics, during my PhD tenure at NIT Rourkela for four consecutive years. This allowed me to interact with the students and solve their doubts. In addition, I have to take a weekly lab session and prepare lab assignments and evaluate the lab records.
The teaching experience in the classroom started as a teaching assistant for the course work of fluid mechanics, microbiology and bioprocess calculation. As a teaching assistant, I have to prepare and evaluate the assignments. After submitting the PhD thesis, I joined as an assistant professor (Contract) in the Department of Biotechnology. There I taught Fermentation technology and Biochemistry. Earlier, I had given many talks in the international conferences but teaching in a class has a different experience. But teaching the students have given me the second opportunity to learn the subject thoroughly.
