About Sarah
PGCE Student. I studied French from KS3 to University level and have lived and taught in France for several years. I have a unique and in-depth understanding of the needs of language learners as well as some of the challenges facing foreign language learners. I too had to overcome some of these challenges!
I am passionate about passing on my own knowledge to improve the competence of each of my students and to help encourage them to achieve their potential.

Lessons are always pupil-centred - I enjoy tailoring lessons to the needs of my individual students since everyone learns differently. Lessons are fun, interactive and provide a rich learning experience for my pupils. The first lesson will involve understanding the strengths and weaknesses of my student, and for younger pupils, understanding likes and dislikes as well as preferred learning styles.
My aim is to increase competence through increasing engagement, attainment, confidence and, most importantly, enjoyment in the target language.
Happy to teach all ages from Primary (Reception to KS2 ) to Secondary (KS3 to GCSE). Lessons typically last 45 minutes.
