Hello! I'm a qualified primary school teacher from Scotland with several years of teaching experience in both traditional classrooms and international schools. Throughout my career, I have taught students from a wide range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds, and I have lived and worked in China, France, Italy, and the Czech Republic. These experiences have helped me develop a flexible, open-minded approach to teaching and communication.
I speak French fluently, so I understand firsthand what it is like to learn a new language from the very beginning. I am a qualified primary school teacher with several years of classroom experience teaching English, reading, writing, maths, French, science, and social studies. My lessons are student-centred, engaging, and tailored to each learner's needs, goals, and learning style.
I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable and confident, so I create a supportive environment where mistakes are seen as part of the learning process. I use a variety of techniques including guided practice, discussion, games, visual aids, reading activities, and real-life conversation to keep lessons interactive and enjoyable.
Lessons are typically 45–60 minutes long, although shorter sessions can be arranged for younger learners. I teach children, teenagers, and adult learners from beginner to intermediate levels.
