Standing in a practice room, I hear the exact moment a student finds the right hold. I completed my MMus at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal before spending 13 years refining my teaching style.
Growing up in Bordeaux shaped how I listen to the tension in a bow arm. It is quite common for my students to study voice and violin simultaneously, which I find enhances their rhythmic sense.
