Liana has been my tutor during my first and second year while studying psychology. She has helped me with essays and research reports as well as with tips for studying and structuring my learning outcomes. She was of great help as my grades and learning methods enhanced as a result of her tutoring. She was always patient and meticulous. She was always giving me detailed feedback related to my work and results which helped me a lot. I identified my weak points and qualities but most important what I had to adjust to enhance the quality of my work. What I appreciated most was that she was really passionate about the topic. I got my CAE with A and it was all because of Liana. I had difficulties scoring more than 50% in the reading section of it, no matter how hard I tried on my own, so I asked her for help. In two months, I started scoring more than 75%. What I loved about her was the fact that she did not rush me. We spent even 20 minutes sometimes just on one mistake, and we did not move on until she saw that I truly understood where I went wrong, by explaining and giving similar examples, so that I would understand the pattern. I have to admit that sometimes I was shy in my answers, and I just wanted to get it over with, or just nodded to what she said because I would be embarrassed that she would think that I am a lost cause, but she was not judgemental, on the contrary, she was really supportive, and after a few meetings, I felt more confident and it showed. I will be forever grateful for how encouraging and patient she was with me.

Liana has been my tutor on many occasions while I was studying Psychology. She has helped me with essays, presentations, studying for exams as well as understanding research and statistics. She has always been very patient and approachable! I never felt uncomfortable asking questions. I felt I could really learn from her feedback because she knew how to explain what I have been doing wrong but also how to improve it. I remember when I did my first essay at University, Liana helped me understand what a good critical thinking means and how to be concise, as well as what researching for an essay should be like. I feel like the skills I learned from her have helped me later as well.
