About Finley
I started learning the cello at the age of five through the Suzuki method. Since then, I have completed both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in cello performance. During my studies, I have taken part in masterclasses with Julian Lloyd Webber, Jian Wang, Hannah Roberts and István Várdai, and have reached the finals of the John Barbirolli and Ambache Prize competitions, as well as winning the Salon Prize. I love the cello and music of all genres, and I hope to share that passion through my teaching.

Lessons are typically an hour long but can go for an extra 30 minutes if needed. Lessons for all ages and levels. I embrace any type and genre of music. I hope to guide students so that they can get the most enjoyment out of the cello as possible. Have prepared students for grade 8 ABRSM & Trinity distinction. Have studied using both Suzuki and Kodály methods.
