About Maika
Hello! I’m Maica, an online English tutor who enjoys helping students develop confidence and communicate more naturally in English. I believe that every student can succeed with the right guidance, encouragement, and learning environment.
I teach children, teenagers, and adults, with a special focus on beginners and elementary learners. My lessons are patient, well-structured, and adapted to each student’s goals, whether they want to improve conversational English, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading, or speaking confidence.
As a tutor, I prepare personalized lessons that are engaging, interactive, and easy to understand. I explain grammar using simple language, encourage students to speak as much as possible, and provide constructive feedback to help them improve step by step. I create a supportive classroom where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes because I believe that confidence is one of the most important parts of language learning.
In addition to teaching English, my professional background in Human Resources has strengthened my communication, organization, and coaching skills. These experiences help me understand different learning styles and build positive relationships with students from diverse backgrounds.
My goal is to make every lesson enjoyable, practical, and meaningful so that students not only improve their English but also gain the confidence to use it in everyday life. I look forward to supporting you on your English learning journey!

Hi, I'm Maica! I believe learning English should be enjoyable, interactive, and tailored to you — because every learner has a unique pace, style, and goal.
My Teaching Approach
I focus on practical, real-life English rather than rote memorization. Through meaningful conversations, simple explanations, and hands-on practice, I help students build genuine confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Mistakes are always welcomed here — they're how we grow.
A Typical Lesson
Each session follows a clear, comfortable structure:
Warm-up — a short review and casual conversation to ease into English naturally
Core learning — new vocabulary and grammar through interactive activities, reading, pronunciation work, role-play, or games (for younger learners)
Wrap-up, a summary, personalized feedback, and practice activities to reinforce progress
What Sets Me Apart
My approach is patient, structured, and genuinely supportive. I create a safe space where students feel free to ask questions, make mistakes, and express themselves. My goal goes beyond teaching grammar, I help students become natural, confident communicators in everyday life.
Who Are My Lessons For?
My lessons are open to children, teenagers, and adults at beginner to intermediate levels (A1–C2). I can help you with:
Conversational English · Pronunciation · Grammar & Vocabulary · Reading Comprehension · School Support · Travel English · Interview Prep · Business Communication
Whatever your goal, I'll build a lesson plan around it.
