About Sumana
My name is Sumana (sue-maun-ah), and I am a college student residing in Northern Virginia who is passionate about helping younger students succeed academically. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed strong skills in communication, problem-solving, and explaining concepts in a clear and understandable way.
I have experience working with elementary students in their schools, supporting younger learners and creating a positive environment for learning. This experience taught me the importance of patience, encouragement, and adapting my approach to each student's needs.
As a tutor, I strive to make students feel comfortable, supported, and confident in their abilities. I believe every student has the ability to improve when they are given the right guidance and a learning environment where they feel motivated to grow.

Through my experience tutoring younger students, I have learned how important it is to be patient and make learning enjoyable. My lessons are designed for elementary students who need extra help with math, reading, writing, grammar, and English skills.
