About Kathleen
I have 3 years of teaching experience and hold a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics. During my teaching journey, I have worked with students from different educational backgrounds, helping them improve their mathematical confidence through patient guidance and structured instruction. I believe every learner can succeed when given the right support and encouragement.
One student found solving equations with variables on both sides particularly difficult because organizing each step often became confusing. Real-world examples from budgeting, architecture, business planning, engineering design, sports statistics, coding, and environmental studies help students understand the practical value of algebra. Frequent quizzes, revision activities, personalized assignments, and progress discussions reinforce learning while identifying opportunities for improvement. Lessons remain flexible so every learner receives the support needed to succeed.
