I always watched other people swimming and thought it looked so easy. Then I got into the pool myself and realised I had no idea what I was doing . Uzair made a huge difference. He broke everything down into simple steps and corrected me whenever I was doing something wrong. Slowly my movements became more natural and I stopped panicking about every little thing. I'm still learning, but the progress has been much better than I expected.

For an experienced swimmer, floating or swimming a few metres may not sound like much. For me, it was a huge achievement. I couldn't even imagine doing it when I started. Uzair was patient throughout the process and kept encouraging me whenever I struggled. Seeing the progress from my first class to now has been really satisfying. When I first started learning swimming, I was not very comfortable in the water and could barely float without getting tired. I was also nervous about trying new things in the pool.
With Uzair’s help and patience, I slowly became more comfortable and confident in the water. Whenever I had difficulty with a particular movement, he would explain it again and help me practise until I understood it.
Over time, I learned to float properly, swim more than three pool lengths without stopping, and learned new strokes like backstroke and breaststroke.
