Perfect! When I asked Keyana to teach me how to improve my chess skills, I missed the first 5 lessons that we had proposed because I was asleep. Most people would disregard me for sleeping in 5 times, but when I asked Keyana for another lesson, she replied that she wouldn't say no to someone who wants to learn chess. She's very noble, easy-going, and I learned so much from her gameplay method of teaching, her positive attitude, and her vast depth of understanding of the game.

1) When did you start practicing? How did this passion find you?
I started playing chess when I was in kindergarten, first I learned the basics from my dad but then as I grew up I went to different chess clubs and got more interested in this field.
2) Which masters inspire you the most?
I have always been interested in Bobby Fischer's games because of his innovative and excellent way of playing.
3) What are the qualities and skills required to succeed in this area?
Constantly learning and passion are the main factors that can help you gain the needed skills in this game. Furthermore, it's important to see the tactical moves, know the strategy, etc. but it's impossible without those 2!
4) What is the most valuable advice you can give to help someone stay focused on their craft?
Don't be scared to try new things out in this game! Play and learn a variety of openings and do not only stick to one! Oh, and don't forget to do puzzles daily!
5) How would you describe your passion; how does it make you feel?
Chess is not a game for me, I can clearly see the impact it has on my personal life as well. Even though still, I can forget about the clock when I play.
6) What achievements are you particularly proud of?
I think that besides the achievements I have in this field, I developed concentration and problem-solving throughout this game which helps me perform better even in other criteria in life!
7) Have you ever been surprised by a student; by their ability or quick progression?
Absolutely! I was surprised by the passion and process of several students I've had, and I'm glad I could help them to improve faster.
8) Being a Superprof is an art! What is your secret?
I just love chess and I found it cool to teach it to others who have the same feelings! So we can enjoy this amazing game together!
