As a Mathematics tutor for primary school students, my goal is to make learning fun, clear, and confidence-building. I focus on helping children understand the “why” behind maths, not just memorise steps turning tricky topics into simple, enjoyable challenges. I use a student-centred approach, adapting my lessons to each child’s pace and learning style. Lessons include interactive exercises, real-life examples, and problem-solving activities that encourage curiosity and independent thinking. A typical lesson lasts about 1 hour, with a balance of explanation, practice, and review to ensure steady progress. I also provide regular feedback to help students (and parents) track improvement. I’m a Staffordshire University graduate in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, with a strong background in mathematics and analytical thinking. My lessons are ideal for primary school pupils (ages 6–11) who want to build confidence, improve their understanding, or prepare for exams such as SATs or 11+. I believe every student can enjoy maths when it’s taught with patience and enthusiasm and I’m here to make that happen!
