About Papita
I’m a dedicated Math teacher with an M.Sc in Mathematics and a B.Ed degree, Based in Navi Mumbai. I have 3 years of experience teaching Math to students from grade 5 to 10. Over the years, I have worked with learners from various boards including CBSE, ICSE, and State Board. I focus completely on the individual needs and learning style of the student. These personalized classes allow students to learn at their own pace without any pressure. I try to make concepts easy to understand by using clear explanations, everyday examples, and simple methods that help students connect with the subject. In my Maths classes, I follow a structured and practical approach that focuses on clarity, regular practice, and gradual progress. Before starting any topic, I assess the student’s understanding of previous concepts to ensure there are no gaps. Once that’s clear, we move ahead with the current syllabus.
For each chapter, I begin by explaining the theory in a simple and relatable way, using examples the student can connect with. After that, I provide topic-wise worksheets or practice problems, which the student completes as homework. We review these together in the following session, discuss mistakes, clear doubts, and only then move on to the next part of the chapter. This ensures strong concept-building and confidence at every step.
To strengthen problem-solving ability, I also include a variety of questions — from textbooks, past papers, and other curriculum references — to help students think beyond the usual and be better prepared for exams. The goal is to build a deep understanding, not just memorize formulas.
I closely track the student’s progress, focus on weak areas, and adjust my teaching speed as per their learning needs. Regular testing, feedback, and revision help the student stay exam-ready throughout the year.
