I am a passionate practitioner in the field of computer science whether it be within education or industry. I have done both. As a teacher I have 16 years of experience teaching classes from KS3 to GCSE to A Level. I hold a BSC (Hons) Computer Science degree. My most notable role within industry was as EMEA Webmaster at IBM UK.

I tailor my classes to the student and course being taught. I regularly evaluate both my own and my staffs' teaching to ensure that we are using the most effective pedagogical strategies for our students for the best possible outcomes for all students. This may include visual, aural methods as well as utilising web and app based tools. For example, I find that teaching the Fetch-Decode-Execute cycle is best taught using an animation and Q&A so that students can follow the cycle as it proceeds through the registers and other components.
