About Anna
I have recently completed my A levels, in which I received the top A* grade in my college in English Literature. I am currently preparing to apply to Oxford for English. I understand what it is like to be an a level student and want to give younger English students the advice and guidance I would have loved to receive during my A level course. A levels are stressful and can be very scary, trust me I know (I did my exams last year!). All I want to do is help you to enjoy the experience of learning, and hopefully come to love English as much as I do.

My teaching method is flexible. I want to know what you need from our sessions, and tailor our time together to create a learning space that is most effective for your learning style. I recognise that everyone is different and that learning is a highly individual process. I am here to help you find a work flow, share revision techniques, and enhance your skills. The skills I will focus upon are writing skills (structuring and use of language), analysis of text, integration of context and history and revision/organisation technique. I want to ensure that the way you tackle your a level course is rigorous, so that you feel confident walking into exams.
