About Joseph
I graduated from Goldsmiths University, London in 2018 with a Degree in music. Since then I have toured Europe and the US as the frontman of my band "Dutch Criminal Record" and written and released hours of music both to streaming services and to vinyl.
I'm a grade 8 trumpet and guitar player and have taught drums singing and music theory.

I've been writing and releasing songs for over a decade and the songs I have written with my band (Dutch Criminal Record) and myself and by myself have amassed over 4 million streams in the last year alone.
Though lots of people find it challenging I believe that a basic understanding of music theory can really elevate what you're able to achieve with your creative efforts such as songwriting or composition. So when teaching any form songwriting or composition I generally start with an introduction to music theory or production and go from there.
