About Jazmyn
In my foundational education, I actually skipped Pre-K due to the age cutoff and I entered year 1 without being able to read or write like my older peers. I lost a lot of self-confidence in my learning at only 6 years old. However, I had an amazing teacher who dedicated her time to teach me how to read and write from the bottom up! I have since continually excelled in English my whole life, and I want to be that teacher for other children too.

I aim my lessons toward anyone under the age of 15, or those who struggle with reading, writing and spelling. I teach reading comprehension bi-weekly at a community centre for children and refugees. I am flexible to communicate with students online or through worksheets that they need to complete.
