About Rebecca
I am currently a student with The Open University, studying BA (Hons) Criminology, however, I previously studied Primary Education and worked in a primary school with Year 4 and Year 5. Throughout my work in school, I helped children, including those with special educational needs, with their maths and English studies. I currently have a younger brother who is in year 6, this helps me make sure I am helping children at the correct level and I am going through the correct topics at the right pace. I also have materials from his school to help me ensure I am using relevant questions at a level the children understand.

I provide lessons to primary school children to help them improve their confidence when writing, reading, spelling and completing maths tasks. The way I would structure my lesson is to begin with a starter task to see where the children are up to and what they know. I would then move on to the basics of the topic which we would cover and then become more personal with what the child needs to know and learn.

Details
I provide online tutoring only via Zoom. For my online lessons I charge £10 per hour. If a session would like to be cancelled I will need roughly 2 hours notice. My level of teaching is primary school pupils, however I have more relevant experience with children from year 4 to year 6.
