I am a full-time tutor and NUS graduate with over 20 years of teaching experience, and a former student of Hwa Chong Institution. I teach Secondary and JC students, focusing on E-Math, A-Math, Pure Physics, Combined Science (Physics & Chemistry), and H1/H2 Mathematics.
My teaching approach emphasizes clear conceptual understanding and strong problem-solving skills. I break down complex topics into simple, step-by-step explanations, ensuring students fully understand the concepts before moving on to harder questions. I also use targeted practice and exam-style questions to familiarize students with common question types and effective answering techniques aligned with the MOE syllabus.
Lessons are typically 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the level and learning needs of the student. During lessons, I review key concepts, guide students through worked examples, and provide structured practice with feedback to reinforce learning. I also monitor students’ progress closely and adjust the pace to strengthen weak areas and build confidence for O-Level and A-Level examinations.
My lessons are suitable for students who need stronger foundations, grade improvement, or focused exam preparation, and are conducted one-to-one or in small groups, either online or face-to-face in Singapore.
