A common mistake every parent usually does is to enroll a student by seeing the methodology of the teacher.
Well, there is no specific teaching method.. Everything depends on how the student can grasp the topic and how well he/she can understand it.
I'm not going to give you weekly or monthly tests.
My technique is basically to not go to the further topics until and unless the basics are strong.
My class structure shall be flexible, depending on the student.
No particular time for breaks.. Breaks are given at random when the student is saturated.
