About Jerald
I am a U.S. Air Force veteran and network engineer with over 20 years of experience in enterprise networking, telecommunications, and cybersecurity. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Cybersecurity concentration and am currently pursuing AWS Cloud certifications.
I have designed WAN and LAN solutions for Fortune 500 clients, deployed and configured Cisco switches, routers, and access points, and supported VoIP and unified communications systems. I currently work on a major Cisco migration at Texas Children's Hospital.
I tutor because I enjoy helping people understand complex technology in a way that finally makes sense. My teaching style is patient and practical. I use real-world examples from my career, so you learn not just what to do, but why it matters. Whether you are preparing for a certification or solving a problem at work, I meet you where you are and build from there.
I tutor Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+ and Security+, AWS Cloud, TCP/IP, network security, and general networking fundamentals. I am available evenings and weekends.
