About Elena
Hi all! I am a language teacher, with a master's degree in languages and one in teaching Italian to foreigners. I have more than 5 years of experience in teaching foreign languages, Spanish and English, and Italian language for foreigners, at all levels. I teach private and group classes, online for adults and teenagers. In my classes, you will understand Italian grammar and we will practice speaking, as well as reading and listening comprehension, phonetics and pronunciation, and communication, with the support of interactive didactic material and everything according to your needs! My methods are very practical and based on everyday language and on communication. I love the contrastive method, that is, showing the differences between your language and mine, I believe that this helps the student to better understand certain structures of Italian. I love working with interactive material, songs and problem solving activities to strengthen the language. I work a lot with images and videos: each student has their own learning methods and the ideal is to use all kinds of material so that the student feels comfortable. Grammar for me is essential at least to be able to understand how to use the language in a logical way: however, it is not the only fundamental element of the language and the rules and errors related to them are gradually filed over time and with the practice. I wait for you in my classes!
