About Anna
Hello! My name is Anna. I am from Barcelona. Do you know this beautiful city? I am a pharmacist and I also have a master's degree in Nutrition. I like languages very much, so I decided to study Translation also. I am very happy when I meet people from other countries and when I can speak other languages. My mother languages are Spanish and Catalan, so if you are planning on coming to Barcelona, I may help you to learn some basic words and sentences also. If you need someone to help you here in Spain, I will be glad to help you. I have already taught Spanish, in the United States, France and Belgium, where I lived for many years. I spent a year in the United States as an exchange student, when I was very young, and I understand the difficulties that a student may find when learning a new language. It is like a puzzle, the more you know, the better the different pieces fit together and you get to the objective. I am currently improving my teaching skills through a teaching course from the European University Miguel de Cervantes and ELEInternacional. Bonjour, je m'appelle Anna et j'habite à Barcelone. Methodology: My methodology includes a lot of conversation, some grammar and writing and I will give you some homework for the next class. In our first class, we will get to know each other, I will give you a short and simple test to assess your level. We will discuss this, along with your particular needs, goals and preferences. I have a lot of resources and materials to share with you and make this learning experience something motivating and fun. I can personalize each class to your requirements. If we work together and you are motivated, I am sure you will be really happy with your progress. I think that making mistakes is an not a problem as long as your teacher makes you aware that you've made a mistake. A mistake is always good thing as long as you can learn something from it. And I promise you will !! A lot !! What is important is not to be ashamed and talk, talk and talk !!! I promise I will do my best to help you to learn or improve your Spanish. I LOVE teaching. People say that I am very flexible, sociable, empathetic, and that I have an interesting conversation. I like helping others as much as I can. I am patient, precise, meticulous (I have to be, since I am a translator), and dedicated. Perfect! Anna is a brilliant teacher with kind heart and patience. She can adapt her teaching method to my level and also intergrate Catalan in the Spanish lessons which is very useful for expats living in Barcelona. Her class is very efficient and helpful!
