About Francisca

I hold a Master's degree in Journalism through the Erasmus Mundus programme, at the University of Amsterdam and Aarhus University, alongside a cohort of 90 international students. During the programme, I lived in Denmark, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
I have written for several journalism platforms in both Portuguese and English.

About the class

Portuguese is my native language, and I have a strong command of it. In 2018, I achieved a score of 18.4 out of 20 in the Portuguese national examination.
I completed my Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences (Journalism, Public Relations, and Multimedia) at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto in 2021.
Send me a message and let's find out how I can help you learn Portuguese!

Perfect! An incredible learning experience! Studying European Portuguese with Francisca has been one of the best language-learning decisions I’ve made. She brings clarity, structure, and an encouraging energy to every session. Her lessons are not only effective but also genuinely enjoyable.

Francisca has a gift for explaining tricky grammar in a way that clicks. She adapts each class to my pace and learning goals, helping me grow more confident in speaking, listening, and writing. Her calm, thoughtful approach makes it easy to stay motivated and improve consistently.

Even though she’s not the same teacher I started with, Francisca brings her own unique strengths to the experience and I’m so glad to have worked with her. I highly recommend her to anyone serious about learning Portuguese with a supportive and skilled teacher. Muito obrigado, Francisca!
