About Alvaro
I am a native Spanish speaker from Guatemala. I grew up speaking Spanish as my main language and took Spanish lessons all throughout school. I started teaching Spanish for a bit in Guatemala before I moved to the states to study and since I've been here I have taught several college students and helped them with their University level Spanish curriculum.

I take my classes seriously but in a laid back manner, and here is what i mean by that. I take what you would like to learn, whether its for school or for your personal Spanish learning, and I make a personalized curriculum with goals. Then we go through the material week by week and at the end of the month we revise the month to figure out what needs more work and what is solid. Throughout the curriculum there will be small tests to test your knowledge and make sure you are ready for whatever is coming next. Depending on your personal goals for Spanish the finish line will be different but i'll make sure you get there and that you can have as much fun as possible on the way.
