I am a native Japanese speaker currently pursuing my postgraduate studies at the University of Western Australia (UWA). Prior to relocating to Perth, I built a solid professional career in a corporate setting in Japan. This background instilled in me a rigorous standard of professionalism, punctuality, and clear communication—qualities I bring to every tutoring session.
Having navigated the rigorous path of mastering a second language myself (achieving an IELTS score of 7.5 and designing my own language learning materials), I possess a profound empathy for the challenges adult learners face. I know firsthand how intimidating language acquisition can be.
Why do I teach? My fundamental objective is to cultivate a sense of psychological security for my students. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and focuses heavily on output and real-world application, utilizing established textbooks if desired.
