About Prisca

Ciao! I'm a native Italian speaker who has studied across the world, including completing the International Baccalaureate at a leading UK secondary school and recently graduating with a Master’s degree from a Russell Group university. My academic journey has given me a strong foundation not only in Italian, but also in the structure and demands of UK and international education systems. I’ve always loved sharing knowledge, and through my tutoring experience I’ve found real joy in helping others build confidence and reach their goals. Whether you're preparing for exams or just starting out with Italian, I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to you.

About the class

Hi! I'm Prisca, a native Italian speaker with a real love for teaching and helping others connect with the Italian language and culture. I grew up between Italy and the UK, studying in both the British and IB systems, so I understand how different learning styles and school systems work. I’ve just finished my MSc at the University of Glasgow, tutoring throughout my time there. I work with learners of all ages — whether you're studying for GCSE, A Level, or IB exams, or just want to pick up Italian for travel, conversation, or fun. I tailor each lesson to suit your goals, whether that's improving grammar, building confidence in speaking, or getting a better understanding of Italian culture. I want lessons to feel enjoyable and supportive, and I’ll always adapt to what works best for you. If you're looking for someone who’s patient, friendly, and genuinely passionate about helping you learn, I’d love to help.

I couldn’t recommend Prisca enough as a tutor. When I started learning with her, I had very limited knowledge of Italian, but thanks to her patience, encouragement, and creative teaching style, I was able to build confidence and eventually pass my GCSE Italian. She always found ways to make lessons engaging and tailored to how I learn best, whether through conversation practice, games, or clear explanations of grammar. Prisca created a really supportive atmosphere where I never felt embarrassed to ask questions or make mistakes. She’s a fantastic teacher and made a real difference in my learning.
