About Anna
Hi, I'm Anna, an international aid worker with Italian language teaching experience. Originally from Brescia (northern Italy), I've lived in almost 10 different countries on 3 continents! The passion for my work in the field of development arose from another great passion that I had since I was young: that of foreign languages and intercultural mediation. My studies and work have led me to achieve fluency in English, Spanish and French. My other greatest passion is food! I love cooking and eating, of all types, flavors and colors, and my forte is Mediterranean cuisine. After graduating in foreign languages, I obtained the certification in teaching Italian to foreigners at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice, I have taught Italian in the most disparate places: in a 'pueblito' in the Andes of Colombia and in a small town in the central region of Ghana. The most significant experience was in my hometown, Brescia, where I participated in the organization of a program teaching Italian language and culture to migrants, and where I supported literacy courses in a reception center for refugees.
