About Brigitte

Born in Australia to Italian parents, I grew up immersed in both cultures and have spent much of my life travelling between Australia and Italy, which has always felt like a second home. I’m a mother, wife, and owner of an Italian homewares business based in Brisbane.

About the class

My personal approach to tutoring is centred around communication and making learning fun and engaging. I love teaching not only the Italian language, but also the rich history and culture behind it. Lessons run for 1 hour or longer if needed, and I teach students of all ages — from children to adults.

Perfect! Brigette is an absolutely brilliant Italian teacher. My daughter loved her from the first lesson, is so excited for lessons to come around and enjoys practicing. Brigette takes time to develop trust and ensure her students are comfortable. She is patient, positive, has a clear and sensible plan for each lesson as well as the longer term. She comes organised, but flexible for whatever crops up and is sensitive to what is happening - e.g. noticing if my daughter is getting distracted because she's hungry. She lets me know what she is doing and why. I'm so pleased we found Brigette and couldn't recommend her highly enough.
