About Octaviani
I'm a native Indonesian speaker currently based in Singapore, and teaching has always been something I genuinely enjoy — there's nothing quite like helping someone go from feeling unsure to confidently having their first real conversation in a new language.
Bahasa Indonesia is my mother tongue, so it felt natural to share it with others, especially since I have some free time now and wanted to use it doing something meaningful. Rather than just teaching from a textbook, I like to focus on how the language is actually spoken day to day, the kind of Indonesian you'd hear from locals, not just in formal settings.

Lessons are conversation-focused and practical, covering everyday topics like greetings, ordering food, small talk, shopping, and other real-life situations, alongside basic grammar and vocabulary to build a solid foundation.
