Native Indonesian based in Leeds with experience teaching the Indonesian language to speakers of other languages

I was posted in Indonesia and have learned Indonesian in different institutions before. When I moved back to the UK, I wanted to continue my Indonesian lessons. I am interested in politics, law, history and human rights issues. Dorothy created lesson plans which we agreed in the beginning. Her classes were organised and clearly structured. She is friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and a very effective teacher. She used different methods to ensure I developed my reading, listening, speaking, and writing skills in every lesson.

I have learnt more than I expected to and was particularly impressed at being challenged to present in Indonesian from the start. Dorothy was an excellent teacher, I was provided with lots of material before, during and after classes, and the classes and exercises were very engaging
