In the past 22 years I have developed a lively, warm and confident classroom manner that encourages a lot of student participation and personalisation. Some of my strengths are clear, logical eliciting and concept checking, the accurate perception of different student needs and confident competent classroom management. I tend to use visuals or realia to introduce the topic of the lesson. I also like to introduce items of cultural and personal relevance in the classroom and encourage real-life application of the language. Use of authentic materials, role plays, songs and short videos.
