About Shona
Hi! My name is Shona, I am studying Environmental Science at the University of Stirling.
I love geography (especially physical geography) which is one of the reasons why I'm tutoring. I also really like how rewarding it is when students grasp concepts and understand material, and when they write amazing answers to exam questions.

Online National 5 and Higher Geography tutoring!
There is a big focus on understanding how marking schemes work, so students can structure answers and roughly self-mark them. This helps revision become more focused and exams less intimidating.
There is also a focus on encouraging practise timed questions, and practise papers can be created for students to have additional unseen questions to use in exam conditions for revision.
Lessons would last around 45 minutes, where topic concept is explained, example exam questions shown, breakdown of where an explanation would get marks and an example explanation worked through or marked together.
I really enjoyed to National and Higher courses, and I hope to help others enjoy (and pass) them too!

Shona is very comminuted in helping others achieve academic success too which is seen through her communication, supportive attitude and knowledge of geography.
