My Teaching Approach As a teacher, I aim to create an engaging and supportive learning environment that caters to the individual needs of each student. My methods are built around active learning, where students are encouraged to apply what they’ve learned in practical situations, making the lessons more relevant and memorable. Teaching Techniques and Methods I prioritize discussions, group work, and hands-on activities that keep students actively engaged. For example, in Mathematics, I might use case studies or real-life problems to encourage critical thinking. I mix traditional teaching with modern online tools, offering a balance of lectures, quizzes, videos, and collaborative activities. This ensures that different learning styles are addressed. I provide regular, constructive feedback to students. Whether it’s through written comments, video calls, or quick check-ins, I make sure each student knows exactly what they need to improve and how they can get there. I break down complex concepts into smaller, more digestible chunks. This step-by-step approach ensures that all students, regardless of their level, can understand and build on foundational knowledge. Class Structure Introduction (10-15 minutes) --start each class with a recap of previous lessons to reinforce knowledge and set the stage for new material. I also introduce the day’s learning objectives. -Main Lesson (30-45 minutes)--The core of the lesson, where I present new information using a variety of methods (e.g., slides, demonstrations, video clips). Students actively participate through Q&A, discussions, and interactive tasks. -Practice/Application (15-20 minutes) Students work on exercises, case studies, or projects, either independently or in groups. I circulate to provide individual support. We end the class with a review of key points, and I encourage students to ask questions and share their thoughts. This is a time for clarity before moving on to new content. Special Features as a Teacher Student-Centered Focus -- I adapt my teaching methods to the needs of each student, offering flexibility in how material is delivered (e.g., more visual aids, written materials, or interactive content).
