* Correcting the articulation of letters: Focusing on the correct pronunciation of each letter from its precise point of articulation, and correcting any influence of colloquial dialects during recitation.
* Linguistic miracle: Analyzing the Quran's rhetorical miracle to understand the secrets behind the selection of specific words over others in Quranic passages.
* Comparative interpretation: Studying major works of Quranic exegesis to gain a deeper understanding of the verses and their contexts of revelation.
