About Reuben

My name is Reuben Fernandes. I've recently finished my graduation and started teaching. I have played for various bands and competed during my time in college. I've also studied music and given Trinity College London exams. Currently I'm pursuing the 6th grade in piano and theory too. I have been learning the piano since a very young age. I have been teaching the piano for 2 years now. I have an ear for music. I sing and also play other instruments as well like the guitar, bass, cajon etc. My strong suit is being able to get a rough idea of chords of a song by listening to it.

About the class

I recently finished my graduation and started teaching using this platform. I have taught various students be it online or offline classes and it will be a one-on-one for undivided attention and best teaching experience. I have also played for various competitions during my time in college. I have been learning the piano from a very young age around 10+ years. I teach practical and also music theory at home. The class will be as follows: The initial few minutes would be a revision as well as any doubt solving to the work done in the previous class followed by a quick revision. Then we discuss the objective of that day's class and what we aim to learn. We then move to firstly the theory part which is the most important which builds the main core of music containing all the knowledge required to become a better musician! Once this is done we then move to the practical work which would include warming up of your finger, daily exercises and other pieces or songs the student is interested in learning. As a teacher I would like to make everything easy and interesting for anybody to grasp easily. This class is not only restricted to students but it is for all age groups.
