I’m Jim Fleser, the author of The Chord Wheel, the best-selling music reference title of the 21st century. Over the years, I’ve helped thousands of musicians see the underlying patterns in music — not just as rules to follow, but as creative fuel. My background blends traditional theory with real-world songwriting, recording, and especially emerging AI platforms. These are all tools and not a replacement for artists. I’ve worked with bands, built production studios, designed educational apps, and composed using both analog gear and cutting-edge software. But at my core, I’m a teacher who loves demystifying music and helping others unlock their creativity.
