About Nikita
Hi, my name is Nikita. I am a professional musician, teacher and performer with more than 25 years of experience. I am originally from Russia where I started my musical education at the age of 8. I hold a Bachelor`s degree in Music from Nizhny Novgorod Music College and a Master`s degree from Nizhny Novgorod State Conservatory. During my career, I have toured across the world with many bands and wind orchestras. While living in the US, in New York City, I was a tenor saxophone player at Manhattan Wind Ensemble and Brooklyn Wind Symphony. Currently, I live in Toronto, Canada and provide my students with online and in-person lessons. I would love to be your teacher if you are eager to play the saxophone, clarinet, flute, recorder or you are interested in music theory. I speak English, Russian, also basic Spanish and French. My students successfully pass band auditions, exams like NYSSMA, RCM or ABRSM music theory exam, they enter music colleges and perform at different levels.
